Quantity Is the Most Straightforward Path to Quality

A few months ago, I came across this tweet by Alex Hormozi:

When I read that sentence, something in my mind just clicked.

It’s true. You often hear people ask, quantity vs quality, which one’s better?

But maybe they’re asking the wrong question.

It’s a useless debate if you ask me. Both quantity and quality can be better depending on the context. There’s no clear-cut answer.

What’s more, it’s a false dichotomy. Quantity and quality aren’t opposites, they’re a pair. They go hand in hand. They build upon each other.

In fact, I’d even say quantity is the most straightforward path to quality.

One example I keep going back to is my own writing. I remember writing my first article — it was utter rubbish. But I kept on writing like there’s no tomorrow, ‘til I reach 100 articles, and I went on. Now I’m nearing 200.
