I used to believe that starting a business required:
- 15+ years of expertise.
- Expensive MBAs.
- Permission.
This is all bullsh*t.
In the last two years:
- I’ve grown two one-person businesses to $15k+ per month.
- Grew a 6-person consulting business to $100k per month.
- Sold my first one-person business.
I’ve learned a thing or two about building a business.
Here’s what you need to do instead.
You already have a one-person business.
If you’ve got a 9–5 job, you’re an expert.
You’re just selling your expertise to one customer:
Your employer.
I’ll repeat this till the day I die.
Resell your 9–5 skills to others.
Why?
If one customer (your employer) is willing to pay you, others are too.
