What If Everyone Had a Supercomputer Implanted In Their Brain?

We don’t have the technology (yet), but the unintended consequences already exist.

What if they invented a super computer that could be implanted in every person’s brain. Elon Musk has a company that is developing brain implants that will allow us to directly link our brains to computers. However, the use cases are for medical monitoring and controlling computers with thoughts, making them an expensive and intrusive alternative to an iWatch.

But what if it wasn’t just a link? What if it was an actual computer implanted in our brain. A really powerful computer. Super-computer powerful.

Will it ever be possible? Yes, but not soon. Maybe in 500 years and in ways we can’t even imagine. If you’re still thinking it’s not possible, travel back in time about 500 years, go find Leonardo Da Vinci, and imagine being able to speak his language as you explain to him what a smartphone is (without showing him one). He’d probably get the general idea, but still think it’s impossible. Even as smart as he was, he would not be able to comprehend the technology necessary to do it.
