I’m terrified of AI.

Since 2022, the first iteration of ChatGPT has hit the market.

And the rapid iteration has been at a breakneck speed.

We’ve seen entire industries being wiped out with one update. The recent ChatGPT updates for photo generation have destroyed the work of graphic designers.

I have friends who have lost contracts. And some who may lose their jobs.

Now, employers are changing their hiring practices.

Recently, Shopify CEO Tobi Lutke released a memo with a new AI-hiring policy, saying:

“Employees will be expected to prove why they ‘cannot get what they want done using AI’ before asking for more headcount and resources.”

Here’s what this means for you.
