Why I Flew 1,660km To Scale My One-Person Business To $250k+ In 2025.
Your environment determines your outcomes.
I spent most of my solopreneur journey alone.
I’d work on my business in the early morning. Before my 9–5 job. Usually between 5:00am — 9:00am. I would use my weekends to get further ahead. I would keep what I was doing a secret.
Even when people asked, I’d keep it vague.
Why?
I always felt weird about what I was working on and what I cared about.
The people I had around me didn’t understand. And at some point, I stopped trying to convince them. There were only so many times you could try to justify yourself before you give up.
Here’s my journey so far.
I became deeply lonely.
If you want to be exceptional, you’re going to be the exception.
This means you won't be like everyone else. You’re going to have different behaviours. You’re going to look weird. You’re not going to do what everyone else does.
I’m baffled that people are surprised or triggered when I say this.
I can look at someone’s calendar and bank statement and tell you their priorities.
