I used to be the guy who’d spend three months researching the “perfect” note-taking system before writing a single note.

I’d watch 47 YouTube videos about content creation before creating any content myself.

I thought I needed to understand every psychological principle, every marketing framework, and every technical detail before I could share anything with the world.

This was my biggest mistake.

Smart people have this curse. We think our intelligence means we need to figure everything out first. We believe that if we just study a little more, plan a little longer, and perfect our approach, we’ll avoid failure.

But here’s what actually happens: While we’re busy overthinking, someone else ships their “imperfect” idea and wins.

Perfection is an illusion

You know what I realized after posting hundreds of blog articles, writing over 3,000 emails, and creating close to 100 online courses?

There’s no such thing as perfect content.

Every piece of content I’ve ever created could have been better.
