It got so bad. Nothing ‘happened’ but I was convinced I would never make a business work.

Picture this, for 6 years, alongside my day job, I’d tried everything (I mean everything) in the book. Here’s a brief, but comprehensive list of businesses I’d started and failed:

Sock business, dog bed business, homeware company, candle company, mug print business, day trading, laptop case selling, sweet company.

And that’s not even half of them. Try as I might, nothing ever worked, until it did and boy did it.

I started work in a corporate graduate scheme

Rewind 8 years ago, I just stepped foot in the biggest office I’d ever seen.

The place was gigantic. And there was little me, with no idea what I was doing, who I was, or what ‘value’ I could add.

Slowly, things went from bad to worse. The initial excitement of being a corporate grad wore off pretty quickly and I was left completely underwhelmed.

Was this really going to be my next 40 years?
Is this it?

Was this what I was excited about?!
