
30 days of gratitude 🙏
I promised myself to get into the good habit of being grateful for everyday. Looking at the small things and appreciating the little details. I turned Medium Series into my journal adding a picture and a few basic notes for 30 days. This is what I learnt -
I like habits.
This is something very personal, but I appreciate the certainty of my actions. Knowing that I will like reading a book every night before bed, makes me feel happy about that time of the day. This is something I look forward to everyday.
Spontaneity gives me the power of now.
I learnt that I was thankful for most of the things I did not say ‘No’ to! Overthinking kills my vibe.
Thank God I am not the centre of the universe.
Every little detail has its own story. Putting my day into perspective helped me reflect my existence in this huge universe. Being at peace with at least some part of my story, helped me get through difficult days.
Family time is super important.
I have realised that I cant be thankful enough for people who have known me for a really long time and love me without conditions. They bring me all the positivity and strength.
Being hopeful about the future.
Anxiety is very common but so is happiness. These 2 minutes for 30 days tell me that there is going to be something to be thankful about every single day that is to come in my future life. Being hopeful and excited about the possibilities is where I should focus on.
