As always, I’ve divided the software section into Windows and Linux. In both operating systems, you’ll be using another freeware program called WXtoImg to convert the received signals to images. Unfortunately, the developer who created it suddenly stopped supporting and updating it and sort of vanished, but a group of enthusiasts managed to resurrect the code and the site so that it may continue to be used. Windows

In Windows, you’ll also be using your SDRSharp program as well as VB Audio again to pipe the output to your WXtoImg software.

Start by getting the WXtoImg application. The installation package for Windows works fine on the latest Windows 10.

Once it’s installed, double-click to open it and you should see a blank screen with multiple tabs: Image, Audio Files, Raw Images, Saved Images, Composites, and Animation.

The first thing you need to do is to tell the program where you’re located. Click on Options -> Ground Station Location and enter either your city name or your latitude and longitude if you happen to know it.
