OK then, here’s the solution to this month’s puzzle:

We said that when you solve the sudoku, you can rearrange the nine distinct letters in it to spell a program that you may have used in a time of crisis. The solution is OVERWATCH, because as we all recall, in a time of global crisis an international task force of heroes banded together to restore peace to a war-torn world.
