Ignoring the kitschy title & image…. welcome to Precognitive’s engineering blog! We will be posting tutorials and other articles around the technologies we use and anything else we find interesting.
If you aren’t familiar with Precognitive (check us out here => https://precognitive.io) we are a company that blends aspects of Cybersecurity and Fraud Prevention to stop fraud before it happens (aka Precognition). Our fraud prevention solution leverages device intelligence, behavior analytics and a rules-engine / machine-learning hybrid decision-engine to help our clients decide in real-time if transactions, account openings or logins are fraudulent.
Our engineering team is responsible for building and maintaining our core products and infrastructure. In the coming weeks we will be sharing some insights and what we’ve learned while scaling to handle the massive amounts of data we process (think TBs of data per day), maintaining our 99.9% SLA and making real-time decisions at sub-100ms.
