Switzerland’s five-star hotel, The Dolder Grand, has announced that customers can now settle their accounts in bitcoin or ether. In a tweet, the Zurich-based luxury hotel announced that it was the first facility of its kind to accept cryptocurrency payments.

The cryptographic payment function is being facilitated by fintech’s signature inactive. The fintech firm has developed an application that allows guests to pay for hotel services from their bitcoin wallets. The Bity, a Swiss cryptocurrency intermediary, will convert cryptocurrency into fiduciary currencies. In the future, Inacta will expand the amount of cryptocurrencies that customers can pay.

Bitcoin Holders don’t need to get Fiat..

According to Inacta’s chief blockchain advisor, Roger Darlin, the application is addressed to “holders”.

“It is targeted to customers who have accumulated shares in legal cryptographic currencies. They do not want to convert them into traditional currencies, such as Swiss francs. It also allows suppliers who may be careful when dealing with cryptocurrency to accept payments from these customers.”

This is consistent with the Fortune 500 signature, Avnet that reveals that it is accepting cryptographic payments after associating with the BitPay cryptographic payment signature.

Time is changing…

Avnet, with more than 15,000 employees in Asia, Europe and North America, cited the willingness to keep up with the cryptocurrency as a reason to accept it.

Every day 250,000 transactions are carried out in the Bitcoin Blockchain. We understand that the situation is changing and we position ourselves and our customers to be ready for it.
