A Mischief of Rats and a Murder of Crows.

I propose new avatars for Politicians and their CEO owners.

The already inadequate infrastructure+reconciliation bill is being met with a treatment of predatory delay, instigated by that murder of Crows, fossil fuel CEOs, aided and abetted by that mischief of Rats, opportunistic politicians, the prominent specimens of which are Senators Sinema and Manchin.

This would be disgraceful even under the old “normal”. Now that the planet is burning and hope has been shredded, it borders on the homicidal.

“How dare you?” doesn’t even begin to cover it.

The 6th comprehensive IPCC report on the state of the climate claimed: “Code Red” for humanity. António Guterres, the UN secretary-general, warned: “ The alarm bells are deafening, and the evidence is irrefutable: greenhouse gas emissions from fossil fuel burning and deforestation are choking our planet and putting billions of people at immediate risk.”

The gatekeepers of information paid scant lip service to the imminent and predictable catastrophe but hyped the “hope” that the report supposedly provided.
