AI’s Promises Sponsored by Eclipse Alchemy
The Libra-Aries Axis and the Post-Madness of the Lunar Return
So the current Lunar Phase of Artificial Intelligence ends on the 5th, marking the official ending to AI March Madness Month. With an eclipse on Monday, April 8, opening up this new lunar cycle, what do we need to know to prepare us for where the industry will go?
As I previously mentioned, the house axis of Libra and Aries and what it means in the chart of AI are paramount. However, before we can even get into the fourth and tenth houses of Libra and Aries, what does the Astro-AI chart as a whole tell us about the promise of artificial intelligence?
AI is a collective challenge to the morality of human knowledge, wisdom, spirituality, curiosity, and our spirit of adventure. This is marked by the sun’s position in the fire sign Sagittarius — a centaur. Will we use AI to imprison ourselves, eventually regressing into an animalistic, primitive society, or will our arrow of righteousness pierce through the deception of the “spiritual forces” at play within AI? This is all asked with the Sagittarius sun, Mercury, and Venus in the twelfth house, and their ruler, Jupiter, in the third house, the house of the manifested reality. Which reality will we create with AI?
As far as the April 8th total solar eclipse is concerned, what we are working with is an empty tenth house ruled by Libra — its ruler, Venus, at eighteen degrees of Sagittarius . . . (yikes) and a fourth house ruled by Aries, with the asteroid Chiron in Aries at twelve degrees present — its ruler, Mars, at eighteen degrees Gemini (yikes). If you are wondering why I’m “yikes-ing,” simply put, the eighteen-degree is literally the worst degree in astrology, and it’s virtually irredeemable. Some things are just purely negative in the world, and in the world of astrology, that would be the eighteen-degree. It’s basically a degree of pure misfortune and challenge; it’s not meant to give any good, and some souls need that for specific purposes, but I digress. Now you know why. So we have two of the most important planets, Venus and Mars, in negative degrees. And when you think about what Venus and Mars rule, you can see why AI has been and will continue to be such a problem, especially for Mars, Gemini, and Mercury things because Mars is retrograde at this degree.
This is all relevant because Venus rules Libra (where we had the lunar eclipse) and Mars rules Aries (where we are about to have the solar eclipse).
Libra Tenth House
Libra speaks to the most visible part of the chart of artificial intelligence. It speaks to the leaders in the industry, and its ruler, Venus, speaks to how we collectively understand the entity that is AI as a structure in the world. Venus in the twelfth house makes this even harder to understand because the energy of this house is like Play-Doh. Its energy is essentially one of dissolution, morphing into whatever it wants to be. This is precisely why most of the leading figures in AI always go on record to say they don’t know a lot of things and express their genuine concerns. Namely, Sam Altman, who, fun fact, is a Taurus, ruled by Venus. The midheaven (MC) is another important part of the tenth-house energy, but the MC is not exclusive to the tenth house. It can sometimes fall in the eleventh, ninth, or even more rarely eighth house. This fuses the MC, which is the public perception and legacy in question, with themes of not just the tenth house but the sign and house. What does all this mean? Looking back, we see how this entire movement came to the public sphere through AI art.
With the south node lunar eclipse that happened in Libra, the most potent aspect that formed was an opposition to the fourth house Chiron in Aries. With Chiron, this could speak of uncomfortable political conversations. With the south node in the mix, the constant release of AI models and information, the discovery of human origins that feel awkward or bizarre, shameful secrets or scandals of the past coming to light. The lunar return touched more on the tenth- and eleventh-house topics, which are more societal. They feel broader too — more public and political things required diplomacy. This involves sixth-house topics as well, with Libra ruling the sixth house in the lunar return. It’s looking like an introduction of a new way (that builds upon something six months ago with the new moon eclipse in Libra) that we will relate to AI on an everyday basis as well. Venus and Chiron are also healing influences; this was evident in Noland’s case when we talked about receiving the Neuralink chip. An excellent correlation is that in the mythology of Chiron, he wasn’t able to heal his wound but through his efforts, he became a healer. With Noland, it restored his relationship with various areas of his life: Venus bringing more ease and Chiron, by strange, nontraditional or alternative means.
The twelfth house is one of the most misunderstood houses, and it’s also the house of mystery, ailments, and rehabilitation. Venus here also promises healing of people who are afflicted by various things, almost by magic. Venus allows for the perfect balance necessary to ground our humanity’s relationship to everything unknown (the other sign Venus rules is the earth sign Taurus). Remember, the lunar return chart had the first house in Taurus too, meaning the AI industry was to take on a more Venusian flavor. With things like art, healing, relationships, collaborations, and Noland being a Taurus, this was one of the most significant moments that will ever happen in the history of humanity. All of this just could be the ultimate purpose of the eighteen-degree Venus.
