I fell asleep late watching the black and white in the downstairs TV room of my parent’s home. It was the summer of 68. Awakened by the bustle coming from the news, I jumped up. Sirhan Sirhan had shot Robert Kennedy. The hopes of the young across America shattered that night. Kennedy’s pledge to end the Vietnam War ended with a brutal thud.
