Global Warming Is Real And HERE!!

I’ve been living in Bengaluru since June 2004. In these 19 and half years, I’ve never seen a more "warmer" November until now. Indeed, the Bangalore which I’ve grown used to sees a pretty cold November, and more than anything, this month has been a "record" of sorts. #globalwarming is real, and HERE.

Before you label this "analysis" as anecdotal and lacking in "research", let me tell you that I've looked up the #average #temperatures for #november in #Bengaluru and did a bit of a basic computation. This is what I found.

- Typically, the #maximum #temperature in #November is around 27 C (Celsius) and the #minimum is 17 C. This translates to an #average #temperature of 22 C. Of course, these #figures are "approximate" and pertain to the last few years, before which, both the maximum and the minimum were "significantly" lower.

- This November, the #scales tilted a bit, and the average temperature was more like 24 C, with the highs shifting 1-2 C, and the lows staying the same, with a 1 C variation, at the most. So, in effect, what we have is a "warming" #bengaluru, pretty much like the rest of the #planet.

- Another "dubious" #record this #year, 2023, is that this #august, was the "driest" since the time records have been maintained. Perhaps, this #november can very well go down as the "warmest" of all time.
