Inhabiting Mars would apply a series of technological processes that would replicate the conditions of life on Earth, as much as possible. Altering the atmosphere and Mars’ surface and if life is found, we will have an ethical debate to see if it’s okay to alter and exploit Mars’s territory. This also implicates the melting the ice which is accumulated in the polar ice caps.

Scientists are purposing to launch Nuclear bombs on the martian surface or put a huge mirrors that reflect the heat of the Sun. After doing all these dramatic changes on Mars, the polar ice caps would melt and the vapor would create giant clouds that yields in forming the Earth’s like atmosphere. After the discovery or creation of water on Mars the final stage would be creating vegetable life through bacteria or chemical plants of gas treatment.

Although Elon Musk’s statements about saving humans by colonizing mars are very serious, we still don’t have the technology to achieve it. Terraforming of Mars is a process of planetary engineering by which the surface and climate of Mars would be deliberately changed to make large areas of the environment hospitable to humans, thus making the colonization of Mars safer and sustainable. There are a few proposed terraforming concepts, some of which present prohibitive economic and natural resource costs. As of 2017 it is not feasible, using existing technology, to carry out any activities that significantly increase the atmospheric carbon dioxide (CO
pressure or provide any significant warming of the planet. Any climate change induced in the near term is likely to be driven by greenhouse warming produced by an increase in atmospheric CO2 and a consequent increase in atmospheric water vapor. These two gases are the only likely sources of greenhouse warming that are available in large quantities in Mars.

Future population growth, demand for resources, and an alternate solution to the Doomsday argument may require human colonization of bodies other than Earth, such as Mars, the Moon, and other objects. Space colonization will facilitate harvesting the Solar System’s energy and material resources. Technically we can’t deny the fact that we are someday going to colonize the Martian Land.
