Just a couple of days ago, the CEO of Zillow, Rich Barton, announced in a tweet that employees will have the ability to work from home throughout the rest of 2020.

He went even further to state that his entire mindset regarding working from home has been turned upside down, and expects that recent events will change the future of work.

For those who aren’t aware, Zillow is the leading online real estate and rental marketplace. Buying, renting, remodeling, refinancing, and more are all services offered; with a database of over 110 million homes in the United States.

Why am I emphasizing their business and size? Well because they are one of, if not the first, company to allow its’ employees to continue working from home for the rest of the year.

This is pretty remarkable considering the extreme likelihood that all the sheltering in place will be wrapped up far before the end of this year. No company was really prepared for all its’ employees to work from home all at once, but many have been surprised at how their employees have handled the situation.
