We have been perfecting our technology for a long time. The idea that machines can replace mundane repetitive work has always been appealing (maybe we have always been a bit lazy).

Our technological capabilities will continue to improve exponentially as we continue to optimize. One question remains, can we keep up?

Recently, the company Neuralink presented its newest development. An implant designed to interface directly with the human brain. This implant is meant to be used as a means to treat brain injury and trauma. Eventually, to help patients with paralysis regain some movement.

While this sounds like a noble development, the prospects for future iterations are far bigger.

The goal is to eventually develop this implant into a device that could enable symbiosis between humans and technology.
