Israel Uses AI To Automate Industrial-Scale Death and Destruction In Gaza

Israel developed the idea of mass devastation to civilian areas for strategic purposes during the Second Lebanon War of 2006, which was formulated in the ‘Dahiya Doctrine’. To enhance the shock and awe impact, the IDF is applying AI driven, automated target generation to the selection of ‘power targets’ — civilian targets including public infrastructure, and residential apartment buildings. The industrial-scale amplification of death and destruction has resulted in more than 25,000 tonnes of explosives dropped on the Gaza Strip since October 7, equivalent to 2 nuclear bombs; more munitions than the United States delivered in any year of its bombing campaign against the Islamic State group.
