Passwords are the most frequently used secret credentials during this pandemic. We need passwords now more than ever before.
Our cyber life is secured by password security systems
Nobody can deny the usefulness of the Internet during this COVID-19 crisis. Can anybody survive without logging into the online accounts? The requirement of passwords for carrying out online works is so relevant every day. Work from home or anywhere just can’t run without a proper password security system in place.
Your text Passwords/PIN are so indispensable
Can we live without the passwords? The simple answer is ‘not possible.’ Text passwords and PIN are the most commonly used form of secret credentials. We need passwords/PIN whenever we need to login to check email, use our online bank accounts, or log in to any online account.
Nobody can deny the usefulness of the text passwords/PINs
A part of the security community is trying to replace passwords with biometrics. Some of them are even talking about a passwordless login. Surprisingly, they are still keeping the text passwords/PIN as the default fallback measure if biometrics and passwordless security fail. This is so ridiculous and self-contradicting. Security lowering biometrics can’t replace the passwords. Password is not at all dead. In fact, passwords are so predominantly required by Internet users now.

Don’t share the passwords on the Internet
Passwords are so indispensable for online works that we often share them via email or SMS with a family member, friends, and colleague. Sometimes it is necessary to share passwords with the business partners. There could be many reasons for sharing secret credentials with some other persons.
You need to find out a secure way to share secret credentials if so required
You mustn’t share passwords via email or SMS without prior encryption. There are many ways a text document can be encrypted. Then, you may consider sharing the encrypted secret credentials through a secure chat. Telegram and signal are secure digital communication platforms through which the encrypted secret credentials may be shared in dire necessity.
Bringing it altogether
Secret credentials are indispensable for the networked cyber world. Text passwords and PIN are the most commonly used form of secret credentials. Don’t share passwords/PINs via email or SMS. If you require to share them in dire necessity, then share them only in an encrypted form and through a secure digital communication channel.
