In recent years, Tesla has made a name for itself as a company at the forefront of the autonomous car movement. With its suite of semi-autonomous features, Tesla has been able to bring the car of the future one step closer to reality. But Tesla’s plans for the future don’t stop there. The company is also working on developing AI-powered humanoid robots.

While the company has been tight-lipped about its plans for the robots, there have been a few hints dropped by CEO Elon Musk. For example, in an interview with Recode in early 2018, Musk said that the company’s focus is on creating a “machine that can do anything.” “We’re trying to create a general purpose AI-powered robot, and I think it’s going to be quite important,” he said. Musk has also said that the robots will be able to do things like walk, climb, and even dance. “It’ll be a generalized robot, meaning you can apply it to any task. It’ll be a step above what’s possible with current robots, which are mostly specialized,” he said. So what will Tesla’s AI-powered humanoid robots be used for?
