Anders Thulin works for Siemens as a Business Developer for the eMobility® business, which manufactures a line of chargers for home, workplace, public, commercial, and industrial applications. His focus is on the ongoing support and development of fleet charging solutions for customers as they quickly expand their fleet electrification. He works with customers all over the country, many with a nationwide or global presence, to help them reach their electrification goals. In this interview, he discusses current trends in transportation electrification and the future of eMobility.

From your perspective, what is the current state of transportation electrification?

Various industry participants expect 300%+ growth of EV in the United States alone in just the next few years. There was a study that was done last year by EY that found that 41% of consumers stated their next vehicle purchase would be either a plug-in hybrid or battery EV. Given that, we should expect an even greater growth of the infrastructure to support this uptick, since in practice a driver has more than one place where they might charge.
