This office work reminds me of people plugged into the Matrix

Please look closely at the above image. I know these people can probably leave and quit their jobs at any time if they really wanted to. But doesn’t this image make you feel a little bit like these people are slaves, or just a cog in the machine that is a company that does whatever that company does?

The truth is, I probably look like this to a lot of people if they would see me sitting at my computer for much of the day. I choose to do it. It just doesn’t look right. Maybe there’s a better way. Maybe AI will free us from most of the hours of computer drudgery that we spend each day doing repetitive stuff.
