Orban Attempts To Convince Ukraine To Accept Putin’s Peace Ultimatum.
After Orban announced his visit to Kyiv, I was skeptical that nothing good will come out of it. Apparently, this is exactly what happened. Hungary has become one of the heavily influenced nations by Russia, they believe what Russia fights and stands for is a good cause. Viktor Orban lives by such a way of thinking.
There has been a lot that Orban has said in the past that brought a lot of controversy, as the proposals which he made were condemned by nearly every surrounding European nation. One of his main proposals was to not allow European nations get involved in Ukraine. By later halting and condemning the aid packages that were approved for Ukraine.
In fact, Hungary became heavily pressured by European nations to drop their stance and allow the shipment of aid to Ukraine. The European Commission nearly sabotaged the entire economy of Hungary as a result.
