Shadow work, the jobs we now do that used to be services provide by workers, was a concern back in 2015, but as 2025 approaches, it seems to even more prevalent than ten years ago.
Think of checking out your own groceries, managing your healthcare appointments and coverage, or getting cash from an ATM.
I do believe there are people walking about who may not even know that ATM stands for an automatic teller machine that spits out money. In fact, who stands in line for a teller in a bank or credit union any more? We rely on computers in our own hands for most transactions these days.
