Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos, Jeff being the richest man in the world and Elon not so far away. So why did they both start and now own a space exploration company?

Both say that they love space, and agree that it is crucial to the future of humanity.

Jeff Bezos spends an average of 1 billion dollars each year on Blue origin. Which is only 1/184 of his wealth, but still a big chunk.

Space-X

While Elon spent 100 million dollars just to start his now billion-dollar legacy.

Space-X

So why do these tech billionaires spend so much money and time?

Well in a few years once they get the whole space exploration thing down, the opportunity for wealth is unimaginable.

Tickets for the Space-x rideshare program (the economy class basically) will be 1 million each. And to get a solo falcon-9 launch, that will be 57 million as advertised on the site.

So invest your money now because in a few years these companies will be worth 5 times what they are now.

Especially with climate change and the push to mars, these companies may be your only hope for future civilization. And in partnering with NASA these companies will be the future of space exploration.

As the companies grow we have to watch to see if they monopolize the industry.

But in a few years, Elon and Jeff will be in the trillions
