Redish vs greenish cast

The Xperia XA2 is the actual generation of Sailfish OS devices, enrolled in late 2018 as Sailfish OS official device.

There are some variants, like XA2 Ultra and XA2 Plus, with improved amount of Storage or RAM, or slightly bigger screen, but in the end all the models share the same CPU and GPU (octa-core 2.2GHz Cortex-A53 CPU processor, and Adreno 508 GPU).

In these days I have available 2 Xperia XA2 H3113 model, so I finally decided to do a comparative test, leaving Android 9 in one, and flashing Sailfish OS into the other.

Fears about photos

The main concern of users who install Sailfish OS on their Xperia — not without a justified reason — concerns the camera: SONY has a long experience in the field of imaging, which is not only expressed at the hardware level, but is also realised at the level of of software.
Photographic algorithms in fact go to assist the small cameras in smartphones, and here — unlike in reflex cameras — they have a fundamental role.
