I began to truly doubt the existence of clean eating when I was in my second year of medicine and had first paitent encounter. At that time my the doctor i was observing after history, she recommended patient to take “carrots, boiled vegetables and lean meats”.
At that time, i was curious about the food that should be taken along with medicines.
It is at this time that things began to shift in my perspective toward nutrition. Indeed, for the past few times, I have become more informed.
I began debunking clean eating myths, I can confidently say that gut health is a complex system that becomes strengthened with the more dietary variety one consumes.
