Bristol is lucky to have so many coffee shops and cafes but even more so when you see the great variety of independent venues that offer the finest locally roasted blends. When you stay in a serviced apartment in Bristol, you do have access to your own personal kitchen with a coffee machine but if you feel like venturing out to see what coffee shops in Bristol have to offer, you’re in luck. There are many great coffee shops very close to your accommodation in Bristol, so stay away from the big names and explore your local Bristolian cafe

Full Court Press -

8 min walk:

One of the coolest coffee shops in the city that wouldn’t look out of place in trendy downtown London is Full Court Press. Situated just off the busy Corn Street, just 8-minutes’ walk from your accommodation in Bristol, Full Court Press has a huge and diverse menu. Forget the days of a simple americano or espresso, the staff here know every conceivable way to drink and present coffee and are not shy about making recommendations if you’re unsure.

Small St Espresso –

9 min walk:

Bristol’s hidden gem coffee shop is tucked away in the older part of the city and named after its address on Small St. Open since 2012, it was one of the front runners in the coffee revolution that has taken over Bristol. The interior is small but well designed in a minimalist, ‘shabby chic’ style, perfect for hipster coffee lovers. Small St Espresso has a regularly changing menu of guest beans meaning an array of artisan blends, each with a distinct aroma and flavour. Their sister property, Little Victories is a bit further away but has a lot more seating if you want to spend an afternoon.

Playground Coffee House –

10 min walk:

Playground is a very aptly named coffee shop, quite close to PREMIER SUITES Bristol. As well as the swings replacing traditional chairs, they also have a good selection of board games to play while you enjoy your cup. The café is also an artisanal bakery and all of the delicious cakes and bakes on display are home-made. Not only do they provide the best quality beans brewed by the most dedicated team, but they also transform into a craft beer and cocktail bar in the evening.

Baristas Coffee Collective –

10 min walk:

Another of the foundation coffee shops in Bristol, Baristas has occupied its spot on Victoria Street since the year 2000. Thanks to its central location Baristas is busy from the minute it opens supplying local workers and browsers with their daily fix. As they are a small independently run coffee shop, you can enjoy a delicious cup of coffee knowing you are supporting the local community. They serve their own brand of beans in Baristas a dark caramel-like, buttery roast.

Harts Bakery -

18 min walk:

While Harts Bakery is a bit of a walk from PREMIER SUITES serviced apartments in Bristol, it is easily one of the best-known cafes in the city. This legendary bakery not only serves top-notch coffee to the masses, but there is also a bakery on-site which supplies many local cafes and restaurants (like the above mentioned Small St Espresso) with delicious freshly baked goods. Their coffee comes from the local expert roasters local roasters Extract Coffee. They don’t just do sweet treats, try their flaky sausage rolls and savoury pastries too.
