Reflections From My First Surfing Lesson

Riding the waves teaches you gradual exposure.

I arrived over an hour early for my first surfing lesson at the beach.

I had this sense of nervousness that permeated around me. Since I haven’t dived deep into the water for years, I decided to walk along the beach’s shore to get used to the sound of the waves.
