The harsh truth you’ve been avoiding.

The only way to ease our fear and be truly happy is to acknowledge our fear and look deeply at its source. Instead of trying to escape from our fear, we can invite it up to our awareness and look at it clearly and deeply.” Thich Nhat Hanh

There is the fear of failure, the fear of success, the fear of being found out, the fear of being hurt again. The fear of the unknown and then there is the kind of fear we’re not even conscious of. Bubbling away and feeding the voice(s) in our head.

We often grapple with our fears so much that it debilitates us. We avoid situations and people where fear exists.

Overcoming your fear begins when you decide to finally stop running.

When you decide to stop avoiding, stop resisting, stop distracting yourself and and begin to compassionately & courageously turn towards that which frightens you.

You cannot change what you cannot see, and to overcome your fear you need to begin to see things as they really are. See your fear and explore the true nature of it. Where did it really come from and why does it scare you?

This is the practice of self-inquiry. Our ability to constantly be curious and courageous enough to question the the layers of our thoughts, conditioning and feelings to sit with what we’re experiencing, however fleeting it is.

This is the place our wisdom grows and our healing and transformation begins.
