Draft Resolution approved: an advance signal for aliens’ expulsion proceedings

After four meetings, the delegates surpass divergences and accept a Draft Resolution with recommended proceeding regarding aliens’ expulsion. Despite it is a soft law and it recognizes the nations’ sovereingty, it represents an advance towards the recognition of the non-nationals’ rights.

The main clauses approved were the recommend that Member States establish special courts to judge, with municipal law, cases concerning alien expulsions and that each Member State apply the measures in accordance with its needs, if their actions are in accordance the Human Rights.
