New releases ⭐

Presto 0.285 release

We’re happy to share our latest Presto 0.285 release which includes updates to the Iceberg/Presto connector and others.

Notable Iceberg updates:

  • Support for reading and writing Iceberg distinct values
  • Support for deleting from Iceberg tables where the filter matches partitions (full delete support is almost done)
  • Support for AWS glue in Iceberg
  • Support for views

Other highlights:

  • Added a SAP HANA connector
  • improvements for history-based optimizer, including HBO-informed partial aggregation, and overall improvements to its performance
  • Support for writing Parquet V1 and V2

Presto Helm Chart 0.2.0 release

The new version of the official Helm chart for Presto has been released. Notable updates include:

  • Support for existing ServiceAccount
  • Update to Presto Foundation docker image
  • Add metrics endpoint configuration
  • Upgrade default Presto version to 0.285.1
