PrestoCon Day is our one-day virtual event for the Presto community. The CFP is now open — if you’re a Presto engineer or user and want to share what you’re doing with Presto, we’d ❤️ to hear from you. Registration is free, can’t wait to get our worldwide community together!
Presto 0.286 release ⭐
Key highlights from the latest release Presto 0.286 include:
- Support for adaptive partial aggregation which disables partial aggregation in cases where it could be inefficient
- Add additional linear regression functions like REGR_AVGX, REGR_AVGY, REGR_COUNT, REGR_R2, REGR_SXX, REGR_SXY, and REGR_SYY
- Add UPDATE sql support in Presto
- Lots of updates to Iceberg including:
- Prestissimo support for Iceberg catalog
- Fast equality delete as join support
- Support for time travel
- Support for reading v2 row level deletes in Iceberg connector
