A Family of Foxes and Friends
Jordyn McCloud has lived in Pegram for 2 years and were drawn to the quiet and “neighborly” environment that was missing while living in Nashville amidst the noise and sometimes disconnectedness of city life. I found my dream home here and now my husband & I live here together and love the community we’ve found in Pegram!
Even with it’s close proximity to Nashville, Pegram offers a great array of wildlife within the rural type neighborhoods. “A family of foxes had a den in our backyard last spring — we got to watch the pups grow up and play, it was simply wonderful.” says Jordyn.
As someone fairly new to town, Jordyn loves the relational strength Pegram has and hopes it grows in ways that will further enrich & strengthen this community — making it an even more desirable place to live for individuals and families who are looking for a simple & beautiful way of life.
“Pegram [is] everything I hoped it would be when moving — a place where people live authentic lives and offer what they can to one another to enrich the lives around them. I’ve been so grateful for this culture, and pray it can continue to be protected & nurtured in our wonderful town!”
As Nashville continues to sprawl it’s inevitable that Pegram will grow. Jordyn pointed out that there is room for development in the downtown area of Pegram and would welcome places to go to meet with others and enjoy local businesses.
Yet, Jordyn expressed concerns about what that growth might look like as well. “I do hope that these businesses will make responsible choices for placement within the community — forward-moving developments and not backward ones that will diminish others’ desire to move to Pegram, or current residents’ desire to stay.”
We are so grateful to have new residents like the McClouds for bringing new perspective to our city while working to preserve this Pretty Little Town Of Pegram.
