Finals can be one of the most stressful times of the school year. Here are three tips to help you study for your finals.

Tip 1: Make A Schedule

Time management is important when it comes to studying effectively. Make a studying schedule for yourself. For example, you can study English one day and math the next. Or you can even study one subject a week.

“I just think about all the work I have to do and the work I have for this week,” says Eastside junior Alexandria Lopez. “Then I think about how I’m going to fit it all in.”

Tip 2: Take Notes

Notes can be annoying, but they can also be helpful. “Revise your notes and highlight the things you don't understand,” says Eastside junior Alondra Serrano. “Then go back to highlighted portion of the notes and leave little comments to understand the material better.”

Tip 3: Go To Tutoring

It might not sound fun, but staying for study halls after school can be a great way to prepare for finals. Same thing with Saturday school. If you need help, going to these study halls can help you learn important information about your final. Plus, you can do practice tests and develop strategies that will help you succeed.
