A lot of people have conspiracy theories that people come up with all the time such as aliens being real or if the zombie apocalypse will occur during the year of 2020. But not all theories that people have relate in the same way.

Lately it seems that the students here at Eastside don’t know how to tell the difference between the truth and a conspiracy theory.

Jasmine a freshman here at Eastside say,” There have been times when I was gullible to believe someone when they told me a something that wasn’t real but I’ve personally never believe a conspiracy theory.”

Mrs. Brown, a great english teacher here at Eastside says,” Truth is suggestive. The government has hidden things from the public for so long that truly anything could be possible. So for kids to not tell the difference between a conspiracy theory they may not be to off from the truth.”

Michael a sophomore at Eastside says,” Kids jump to much to conclusions and believe in anything they hear or see online. They also could blow something out of proportion and convince others to think that a conspiracy theory is actually the truth.”

Even though that kids think that a conspiracy theory is the truth don’t feel bad because over 60% of adults in 2018 think that a conspiracy theory is the truth about the government.
