The amazon is still burning and the president of brazil Jair Bolosnaro doesn’t want to pay 20 million dollars to save the deforestation. If the rainforest can produce its own rain it will start to decay The earth’s lungs has just been destroyed but deep in the heart of the Amazon rainforest is a tribe called, The waiapi. The Waipai have lived in the brazillian state of amapa for decades in harmony being protected by the forest and in return the waipai protects the rainforest. Now brazil’s president wants to change the tribe’s way by making them into their society to build miners and expand the home owners. Even the people of brazil want to take the land because they feel entitled like its theres saying the farmers have no land and there’s a big piece of land saying that the indegious people are being greedy.The waipia tribe will do anything to protect their homes.

But laws have not protected the waipia ways from intrusion ,in july tribe members says that a group of miners killed 68-year old chief Embryo in a brutal way but the law of brazil did not take it seriously . Telling the tribe the cause of death is that Emrya drank too much of cachacinha , braziliian spirit and drowned in the river but the river is to shallow to drown in. The president Jair says that the indigenous people have way to much land and 13% of the amazon is the waipa tribe which is 900,000. 96- year old Ororiwa says”I’ve always been here and i wont leave and if we humans misuse this planet our creator will make a great flood that will melt the planet There will be great fires , fires that will destroy the earth. Older lady in the tribe said this happened before when she was younger leaving a scar on her and in her heart when he family was murder by invaders and shes afdraid its going to happen again .

The indies people are trying to understand english to fight for there kan d with law but sadly they are outnumbered by farmers and miners wanting to explore their land and to use the lands material for their farms.the waipia tribes feel like war is about to begin going on protroll with young men and boys to see if invaders are seen and what they do see is trees chopped down . The waipia fear that their future is going to fail because of the deforestation of their home.

Asking around eastide what they thought about the president of brazil , Jair , forcing indegiuos people to join our society to have an excuse to take their land away. Some more Chris.L says” Its just like Pocahontas but a mexican version and if the president doesn’t get what he wants he will make it happen with no hesitation and whatever it takes.” Asking another student from eastide what they thought about it christina A said ,``I didn’t know that people lived in the amazon forest.
