The Ultimate Costume Destination

We are well into spooky season here in the AV! Scary is the theme this time of year, and many Eastside students are planning to dress up as their favorite characters at the end of the month.

If you don’t know where to do your Halloween shopping, you should check out Spirit Halloween, a seasonal store only open this time of year!

Spirit Halloween is a store full of the funniest and scariest decorations and costumes for the spooky season. There are many different props to go along with your costumes, scary pop-up decorations, and a variety of costumes to choose from.

Despite the great variety and overall popularity of Spirit Halloween, a survey shows that 52% of Eastside students have not yet visited Spirit this year, which is a shame. Students who’ve visited the store found great deals and some of their favorite characters as costumes to wear for Halloween. How fun is that!

Some Eastside students don’t just visit Spirit Halloween. They work there!

“I’m a horror freak so I enjoy being there,” says former Eastside High School student and Spirit Halloween employee Nancy Vazquez. “It’s so much fun seeing all the scary stuff we have, testing them out, and scaring ourselves.”

Eastside High School Senior Itzebel Burgoa is a fan as well. “It’s fun because you get to see different costumes,” says Itzebel. “You get to have fun trying them on and all the funny masks.”

Spirit Halloween is the place to be during the Halloween season, but be sure to visit soon. The store closes on November 2nd. And don’t forget: there’s only ten days until Halloween.
