Graduation is around the corner and seniors are about to take their first steps in adult life, some say they are ready until they get asked about college. Most students say they are going to college after they graduate but not right away because some say they want to take a break from school but they won’t realize that the longer the wait the more difficult it will be to register for classes.

Some students at East side High had their own opinions about how they would do it.”My way of paying for college is by doing students loans and my FAFSA, and also work to have extra money on the side in case it cost more. ”says 12th grader Kadeem Holloway.

Another students at east side haves his own plan.”To pay for college I would save up money from a job and take out loans, but I applied for scholarships and have my FAFSA. “says 12th grader Oscar Norman.According to big culture website it claims students receive financial aid so that’s another thing that can help out students to pay for college.

For the students that doesn’t have a scholarship private colleges institution was $45,370 last year but the average pay for a student is $26,080 but the public colleges original price is $20,090 but the students pay is 414,210. ”To pay for my college I would use half of my FAFSA,take out student loans, and use money from my pay check.”says 12th grader Yoselin Deiz .

Students can use a claim of $2,500 tax credit for college if they haven’t completed a FAFSA.Living on campus or enrolling in community college is a way of not having to worry about student loans because their college pays for that. Some student loans aren’t always good because once you graduate from that college some schools would say that you owe them which is like paying for another bill until it is paid off.

Grants that are given out to students by the federal government is awarded on students financial needs and it doesn’t need to be repaid for.If an student receive a grant it will be listed on the financial aid award letter. In the year of 2018 5,000 students that went to a public college received a grant aid while the ones at private colleges received $16,700.The biggest grant awards come from the college itself because they select the most academic students.
