Do you like, every other stereotypical teenager, love your phone? Then you probably have strong feelings about the iPhone versus Android debate. While it’s difficult to keep up with all the new systems, both versions tend to have quality devices and reliable service. But that doesn’t stop many students from picking favorites.

Eastside senior Rochelly Ceniceros is claiming team iPhone. “I love taking pictures,” Rochelly says. “My iPhone has great camera quality, and it makes being organized easy.”

Other students claim that the iPhone is faster, easier to use, and more stylish. It also has an app called Apple Pay, which makes it easier to make purchases.

But that’s not enough for some students.

“Androids do the same thing as iPhones,” says Eastside sophomore Tamera Reliford. “The only difference is FaceTime.”

However, even that seems to be changing, as Android recently released a video-call app called Google Duo.

But the biggest difference for these students? The price.

“iPhones are overpriced, overrated and a big waste of my paycheck,” says Tamera. “iPhones are not as reliable because the make and model are mostly glass.”

“Ain’t nobody got time for that,” she adds.

According to a recent survey, 83% of Eastside students feel differently. They believe that the iPhone is superior.
