Vasquez Rocks is a 932-acre park located at 10700 W. Escondido Canyon Road near Santa Clarita, CA. The area consists of spectacular rock formations along with a seasonal stream. Its rock formations were formed by rapid erosion uplift about 25 million years ago and then again during the San Andreas fault. The park is open every day from 8 am to 7 pm for outdoor activities. It might be a little deserted but it’s still quite a place to visit.
