WorldCup 2018

The World Cup is the most watched sporting event ever and this year was no exception. With exciting teams such as Brazil, Portugal, Argentina, England, and the 2018 World Cup champions France who played phenomenally this year and a team that no one really expected to get out the group stage Croatia who made it all the way to the finals.

Brazil were big favorites to win it this year but were surprisingly knocked out pretty early. Plus there were a lot of controversy surrounding Brazilian star Neymar JR because of how easy he was falling down with weak challenges. Argentina had a lot of hype due to the facts that this might be Messi’s last World Cup so a lot of expectations were put on him as well as Cristiano Ronaldo.

It was an overall lovely experience and lived up to it record of being known as The most watched sporting event. They opened the final of the World Cup with the official WC 2018 song Written by Nicky Jam, Will Smith, and Era Istrefi called Live it Up. It wasn't a bad ceremony as all of them are but there was something different about this one that stood out to everyone.
