Spot #1: The Boulevard

The Boulevard, also known as The Blvd, is one of the most popular shopping areas in Lancaster. Its beautiful street lights and trees catch the eyes of many people. The Blvd has shopping stores, restaurants, skating areas, and several artistic graffiti murals. The Blvd is decorates on holidays like like Christmas and Halloween.

Eastside freshman Leticia Osegueda says, ‘’I think the Blvd is a good spot to hang out with anyone because it has many options like the movies, and an ice cream place, and more which just makes you more open minded about going there.’’

Spot #2: Wingstop

Wingstop is known for its delicious wings and fries. This is a fun place to spend time with family and friends. Wingstop is located in two spots each in Lancaster and Palmdale. It was founded in 1994 and currently has 1,100 restaurants open across the United States, Singapore, Mexico, UK, Indonesia, and the United Arab Emirates.

Anthony Gonzalez, a freshmen here at Eastside says that, ‘’The food is very good and there’s lots of variety. There will definately be a wing flavor that you’ll enjoy. Wingstop workers are also very welcoming and provide good service. Also, if you like spicy wings, the atomic wing is a good choice.’’

Spot #3: La Michoacana

La Michoacana is a group of a various ice cream parlors with an estimated 8 to 15 thousand locations in Mexico itself. From Mexico, Paleteria La Michoacana was introduced to the United States and now it’s one of the most popular spots to eat ice cream, Mangoneadas, fruits and more. People who go there are greatly satisfied with its cultural aspects.

Freshmen Guadalupe Paz speaks on her experience with La Michoacana saying, ‘’It’s a really family-friendly place. I go with my family all the time. It’s a nice place to eat mexican styled food and deserts. You can go with anyone really.’’
