Here we are with the master crafter “Craft Enthusiast…….Ann Geo” much talked crafter getting featured with HomeTalk, CraftGawker, Deccan Herald, Itsy Bitsy and more!
Every crafter has a unique style to put their visions and dreams in each of their master piece, may it be art work for their own home makeovers, this is what kept us inspired to keep sharing their stories which they already began to write times back.
This week is all about Ann Geo, who is a founder of one of top 100 craft blog, passionate crafter and off-course a mother who got inspired to begin this to fulfil her motherhood. She started “Al Things Beautiful” blog in 2016 as a place to document her journey as an artist & crafter. Over time her blog has become a place where she shares her creativity, tutorials, inspiration and a glimpse into her life as a mom and a working designer.
This is what Ann speaks about her journey in pursuing her techie career as well as passion to keep crafting for so long and reaching these milestones.
I’m Ann and a warm hello to you all!
For over 10 years, I have been designing digital apps and learning about how people experience digital products. I grew up and live in Bangalore, India with my husband and young son. They inspire me daily and make me use my creativity in new ways.
When my toddler began using digital gadgets to occupy himself, I started looking for creative ways to engage him and began exploring kid’s art and craft activities. I discovered my passion for crafting while engaging with him in creative projects and started my blog ‘Al Things Beautiful’ in 2016, which led to a whole new adventure in Art, Craft and Home Decor. It’s been an enriching experience to learn, explore creative techniques, photograph and blog about these projects.
Her Inspiration:
It’s inspiring and amazing to connect with creative people across the world and share our interests; to inspire and to be inspired. I believe that in the process of creating something new, you may find a hidden flair or a talent that was buried deep inside you all your life that you can now proudly list as one of your abilities.
Her Most Favourites:
I enjoy creating home decor and up-cycling daily objects into something exquisite. I love to create projects with a rustic and whimsical look and feel.
Her Future Plans:
I hope to learn, explore more crafting techniques and share these tutorials to benefit all those interested.

Crafting is taking creativity into your own hands by assembling or making something yourself and this approach gives you the ability to add your own personal touch to every little thing. It is worthwhile :)
