Making soap is not all that difficult, especially when it’s traditional melt and pour which can be done in several different forms.

There’s so much that can be done with melt and pour soap bases! One of our favourites is making our Peppermint & Eucalyptus layered massage soaps. The basic idea of melting down the soap and pouring it can have some little complexities when layers of different oils, scents and dried herbs are added to make it both exciting and interesting!

Here’s a basic step by step idea of how our Peppermint & Eucalyptus Massage Soap is made:

Step:1. Sprinkle some dried peppermint leaves into the mold.

Step:2. In a double boiler, we melt down a goat’s milk soap base.

Step:3. Add peppermint essential oil for an uplifting fragrance and skin benefits.

Step:4. Pour first layer of melted soap into mold

Step:5. Melt more soap base for the second layer, add eucalyptus essential oil and peppermint leaves. Stir until mixed thoroughly and pour into mold

Step:6. For final layer repeat step 2 through 4 and sprinkle with dried peppermint leaves for the final touch.

And here our soap is finally ready to be used giving our skin a healthy and organic food.
