Primal TCG LGS Welcome Tour
Imperial Games in Vista, California
This month our tour stopped in Vista, California at Imperial Games for our 2nd LGS Welcome Tournament. We wanted to make sure there would be plenty of competition so we hosted a learn-to-play event the day before the tournament and had so many players from different TCG backgrounds show up to support Primal TCG. These players loved our game so much that they decided to come back and spend their Saturday with us, playing for some great prizing and some cold hard cash. A lot of us expected our more seasoned players to win the event but these new players weren’t gonna go down without a fight.
12 Players entered the event and after 4 grueling swiss rounds, we had our Top 4 winners.
- 1st place received $250 + A Primal TCG Playmat + 1x Graded Primal TCG Promo.
- 2nd Place received $150 + A Primal TCG Playmat + 1x Graded Primal TCG Promo.
- 3rd Place received $100 + A Graded Primal TCG Promo Card.
All Top 4 players received a Tournament Exclusive Promo Card and on top of that every participating player received 2x Full Art Foil Promos and 2x Full Art Non-Foil Promos from our first Promo Booster, the Primordial Pack!

Top 4
Finishing in 1st Place we have James, a Digimon TCG Player, playing the Pleaguis control/mill deck.
In 2nd Place we have Brandon, who plays Digimon TCG as well as Yu-Gi-Oh!, playing the Draginked Dragons Constructed Deck. (He left before we could get a picture of his decklist unfortunately.) Brandon learned how to play 5 minutes before entering the tournament!
In 3rd Place we have Alejandro playing the Pleaguis control/mill deck as well.
In 4th Place we have Josh, who plays the Dragon Ball Super TCG as well as Yu-Gi-Oh!, playing the Cayne Pirates with some interesting techs like Pleaguis Deathwhisper and Symbiote Balthasar.
Everyone had a great time and we are definitely looking forward to our next Stop. We will be having a tabletop simulator tournament really soon! It starts on 12PM EST December 3, 2022 and all participants will receive a full art promo!
