Welcome to the Primalbase February report in which we will share important updates and developments that have happened within the project. As well as an informative tool, this report is also an opportunity to open and maintain a dialogue between our team and the community. Our next report will be published at the beginning of April. Enjoy!

LOCATION UPDATES

Primalbase AMS
On February 12th and 13th the very first Primalbase Academy took place in our Amsterdam office. This two-day event was organised for all Primalbase team members to facilitate the on-boarding process of our new team members and to update the existing team of the latest developments. As we grow quite fast and sometimes need to make adjustments to our course ‘on the fly’, being updated on the latest developments is crucial. Moreover, sharing knowledge and insights as a group was both a creative and inspiring exercise. We are currently planning to have the next session this summer.

As of February our Amsterdam office is the lucky owner of two brand new bikes. Token holders and tenants working from the Amsterdam office can use these bikes as a means of transport to and from the office.

Primalbase BER
Despite the fact that our office in Berlin is not yet 100% finished, there are token holders coming to work every week. We also receive quite a lot of event requests to hold blockchain meetups at our venue. Primalbase BER is the perfect location to organise networking drinks, courses and meetups in an intimate atmosphere.

Primalbase LDN
Our London office has been secured and we are extremely happy with this location. In February we opened the doors of this office for the annual Genesis Conference organised by Binary District. This gave our community the opportunity to visit and view the office before the renovation starts. We are aiming to open our London office before summer starts and we will keep you updated on this through our weekly chat session on Telegram.

Towards the end of the office renovation our local team in London will organise a ‘hard hat tour’ for token holders and tenants so they can take a first look at the place where they will be working on a regular basis.

People who visited our booth during the Genesis Conference in London had the chance to work for one month free of charge from one of our offices. The response to this price was very high and we have chosen three winners. These winners can experience what it’s like to work from a Primalbase office of their choice and make use of our ecosystem.

Primalbase NYC & Primalbase SIN
Ralph, our CEO, and our Business Manager Simone have just returned from New York where they have visited potential office spaces in the Brooklyn area. Following a pre-selection we visited around 9 locations (which Dumbo, Downtown, Williamsburg) together with our real estate agent and we learned a lot. It was a useful first visit to orientate ourselves on the American real estate market and to investigate the possibilities for our fourth office.
Although our main focus now is to open our London and New York offices first, Primalbase SIN is still on schedule to open in fall of this year.

SUPPORTING DIGITAL TOOLS

Ethereum gateway
This month we have finished a gateway security audit and based on that, we are now fixing small issues. The option to link Ethereum wallets on the platform is tested and ready to go. The release of the Ethereum gateway is planned for March 2018 in case if any other security issues aren’t identified in the production environment.

Leasing feature
Our internal testing of the leasing feature prototype showed some functionality issues which need to be fixed. To increase sustainability, safety, scalability and user experience of our platform, we have started implementing the website re-platforming and redesign. Moreover, re-platforming will help us integrate other features like booking private offices, meeting rooms, token sharing and other things which are linked to operations after MVP will be released. We are planning to deliver MVP in Q2. We will update you on these topics in coming reports.

Website
In February we have released a website redesign with a more simplified structure and with new content, which explains our project in a more understandable way. This is the first phase in the redesign process and after a testing and feedback round we will implement the second phase. The last step will be integrating the leasing feature and updated booking system into the website.
