Delivering the future of logistics

Those familiar with the Primalbase project understand our mission: to transform traditional office rental through the creation of a collaborative community, using digital tokens. This next-generation ecosystem consists of like-minded people and companies from the tech and blockchain industry.

Our co-working community also includes a handful of tenants that occupy private offices in each Primalbase location. In this series, we want to introduce these tenants and their exciting projects. Quiqup is the third featured tenant in our Tenant Talks series and have a lot to share with other scale-ups in the Primalbase ecosystem.

Logistics for the 21st century

The latest addition to the Primalbase ecosystem, Quiqup is a London-based delivery and logistics start-up that utilises the latest in cutting-edge technology in order to level the playing field between bricks and mortar retailers and large tech giants with e-commerce muscle. To achieve this ambitious aim, the company provides a full range of services from full-service software packages to a fleet of Quigees that navigate the streets and personally hand over the parcel at the door.

Such a flexible offering means that the company can work with all manner of customers to improve their logistics operations and improve speed and efficiency of delivery. Offices and small retailers can rely on the firm’s custom pick-up courier service to meet their customers’ needs, while others can simply use the Quiqup app to save time on their day-to-day errands.

Quiqup has already proven itself to be a forward-thinking firm that wholeheartedly embraces the digital revolution in creating a product and service that meets the ever-increasing demands of the 21st century shopper.

Since the launch of their business services solution last year, the company is now focussed on building and developing their own technology in-house, investing in AI and machine learning to create algorithms that further enhance their service. Quiqup aims to become the premier logistics-as-service business by building the best possible urban logistics network through cutting-edge modular technology, making new developments in tech at the very heart of their mission.

Location, location, location

As a logistics firm, location is everything. Primalbase’s excellent location was, therefore, one of the most important factors for Quiqup when deciding where to be based. But it’s not just location that was important to the company. Primalbase’s working environment was critical to the company as it facilitates growth, progress and innovation through co-working and positive collaboration with others in the tech space. They say that, while they’re keen to learn from others in the community, they have a lot of their own knowledge and experience to share as well.

Since its inception, Quiqup has developed its own in-house travelling salesmen algorithms through AI and machine learning, a solution that is customisable, modular and easily integrated. But there’s much more to Quiqup than the tech it’s developing. Having grown at a rapid pace from just five initial founders to a team currently of more than 150 employees, they will be hoping to share their experiences of handling rapid scale-ups in an increasingly competitive marketplace, something that can greatly impact any start-up. And the Primalbase ecosystem looks like the perfect place to share such a wealth of valuable information.
